After our post Christmas family trip to Lake Keowee, we took the Cherokee National Scenic Highway north to Cowpens NB. We saw three turkeys on the way in to the park.

Tallulah Gorge State Park

Jimmy Carter National Historical Park
We visited the Jimmy Carter NHP during our stay at the cabins at Georgia Veteran’s State Park in Cordele with Sarah, Kellan and Evelyn. This was our first visit to Carter’s boyhood home and farm.
